Pop songs are "Chattanooga Choo-Choo" and "Boogie-Woogie Bugle Boy of Company C." The world is at war, and a harassed producer puts up with a lead singer who shows up drunk, a delivery boy who wants a break, a backup singer who wants to do ballads, and a sound effects man who prefers fighter planes to Glenn Miller.
